The aura as a physiological indicator
Everyone possess an aura, as we are constantly emanating light from our bodies. Though not necessarily perceptible to the naked eye, it can be intuitively sensed by those around us. This light is a reflection of your metabolism, hormones, emotions, and mental state.
Infrared light
Metabolism within the mitochondria generates heat, which is radiated in the form of infrared light. The amount of infrared light that you emit is the result of the rate at which you produce energy. This is likely why some people are referred to as “hot”; their vibrant metabolisms are generating plentiful amounts of heat, contributing to their perceived aura.
Biophotons
Photons are also utilized to communicate metabolic/hormonal information within/between cells and the body as a whole. These biophotons can relay details at speeds that nerves and hormones cannot match. Although most of this occurs through bodily fluids and the collagen fibrils of connective tissue, some are emitted through the skin.
Historical significance
Your aura is then a measure of your metabolism, hormonal profile, neurological state, emotions, and more. Perhaps this is why certain figures throughout history are depicted as having one. While there may not be any way to easily measure and quantify this, it is something that people will instinctively recognize.
How to improve your aura
In general, anything that positively contributes to your health and makes you feel better/happier will affect your aura. This includes but is not limited to:
-Increasing your metabolic rate (thyroid/mitochondrial metabolism)
-Synchronizing your life with the sun (circadian rhythm)
-Getting direct sunlight
-Being outside in your bare feet
-Balacing your autonomic nervous system
-Moving
-Doing things that you enjoy
-Keeping your gut clean
